MELT

The Melt perfume bottle translates the evolving journey of scent into form, material, and texture. Developed through clay exploration and iterative 3D printing, the design responds to the transition between top, middle, and base notes of a fragrance. Curved, circular geometries were chosen to express fluidity and movement, reflecting the gradual unfolding of the scent over time.

The bottle features a frosted glass finish, allowing subtle depth within the container while maintaining a soft, diffused appearance that represents the layered complexity of the fragrance. The smooth, wax-like texture reflects the softness of the scent, particularly the lavender middle notes. The mirrored curves of the base and cap create a sense of rhythm, symbolising the sensory journey experienced as the fragrance develops.
